I was the founder and designer behind the now defunct womenswear label, hansel.
hansel was named after my late, beloved Jack Russell Terrier - a stray puppy that my family rescued off the streets of Singapore.
Launched at Australian Fashion Week in 2003, hansel was known for its vintage-inspired styles as well as printed and knitted fabrics in patterns developed from my hand-drawn artwork.
The award-winning label was sold in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
The label was discontinued in 2015 when I joined the British heritage brand, Laura Ashley, as Head of Fashion for its Singapore and London offices.
